Blogger (formerly: BlogSpot ) is a blog hosting service provided by the Google Blogger program that allows bloggers to quickly create new blogs. With its help, domain name and hosting are available for free as long as the blogger wants. Bloggers can also earn from their blog through Google's Adsense program. [2] This feature does not depend on other blogging programs. A blog can be used for any purpose, be it as a personal diary or for professional work or in general blogging is more commonly used to convey your thoughts to others. Blogspot was started in 1999 by Pyra Labs as a hosting tool. year 2003It was bought by Google in 2010, and has since remained one of the most famous free hosting websites on the Internet.

Use

There is no need to download or use any complex software or technical information to create a blog on it. To create their blog on it, users only have to create their account on Google. For signup on this, the user has to keep a different name which will be the name of his blog. This name is also used as a domain name. [2] Blogspot doesn't have as many features as some other blogging services, but its simple tools and other features make blogging extremely easy. But this does not mean that there are no modern facilities on Blogspot. Most advanced users can make many changes to their blog, including the ability to design their own template and use Google's website analysing program. Several thousand devices on Google (gadgets ) that can be attached to blogs. With their help, bloggers can create multi-use user blogs, with the help of which many bloggers can contribute to the same blog.

Limitations

Blogger has set limits on content storage and bandwidth per user account [3] :

  • Number of Blogs = Unlimited
  • Page size = specific page (home page or archive page of the blog) 1 MB But are limited.
  • Number of Labels = 2,000 unique labels/blog, 20 unique labels/post
  • Number of pictures (hyperlinked from user Picasa web archive) = up to 1 GB of total storage
  • Images size = 250 kb if posted by blogger mobile. per picture; Posted images are limited to 800px.
  • Team members (who can write a blog) = 100

On February 18, 2010, [4] Blogger introduced "auto-pagination", which limits the number of posts displayed per page. Due to which the number of posts on the homepage is less than the number specified by the user and some users have also become angry. [5] [6]
